Harriet Wadsworth letters, 1785-1791.

Letters written by Harriet to her parents, Jeremiah and Faith Wadsworth, and her brother Daniel Wadsworth from New York City, Philadelphia, and Norwich and Lebanon, Connecticut. In a letter dated March 21, 1785, she apologized to her father for her poor spelling and promised not to read any more novels until she was sixteen.
